How to Connect Your Payment Processor

This guide will walk you through connecting your payment processor—Stripe, Square, or Authorize.net—to your system. The process is the same for all three.

Step 1: Navigate to Payment Processor Settings

  1. From your software dashboard, go to the left menu.
  2. Scroll down and click on Settings.
  3. In the Settings section, scroll down to find Payment Processors and click on it.

Step 2: Select and Connect Your Payment Processor

  1. Click on the Select Payment Processor dropdown.
  2. Choose your preferred processor (Stripe, Square, or Authorize.net).
  3. If you’re switching processors, disconnect the existing one first.
  4. Click Update and then refresh the page—this ensures the system registers the changes correctly.

Step 3: Log in and Authorize the Connection

  1. Click the Connect button (e.g., the purple "Connect with Stripe" button).
  2. You’ll be redirected to the payment processor’s login page.
  3. Log into your Stripe, Square, or Authorize.net account.
  4. Select the account you want to connect.
  5. Click Connect and wait for the system to process the connection.
  6. Once successful, you’ll see a green confirmation notification at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4: Enable Processing Fees (Optional)

  1. If you want to pass the processing fee to customers, enter the percentage charged by your processor (e.g., 3.5% for Stripe).
  2. Check the Enable Processing Fee box.
  3. Click Update to save the changes.

Step 5: Start Accepting Online Payments

  • Once your payment processor is connected, customers can receive quotes via email.
  • When they click Make Payment, they can pay securely online using their credit card.
  • The payment will be automatically added to the invoice in your system.

Final Notes:

  • Always refresh the page after making changes to ensure proper updates.
  • If you experience any issues, reach out for support.

Now you’re all set to start accepting online payments through Stripe, Square, or Authorize.net! ?
