Modified on Tue, 11 Mar at 3:29 PM

This guide will walk you through the basic setup of general settings and show you how to access your customer portal for the first time.

1. Access General Settings

  1. Click on Settings in the sidebar.
  2. The first page that opens is Business Information. If you're on a different tab (e.g., Social Links), navigate to Business Info.

2. Update Your Business Information

  1. Enter your Company Name and Website URL.
  2. Set up your Customer Portal:
    • In the Customer Portal Input Field, type your Shop Name in lowercase without spaces.
    • If needed, use an underscore (_) or dash (-) instead of spaces.
    • Example: monument_prints.
  3. Scroll down and click Save.

3. Access & Share Your Customer Portal

  1. Click Copy Link next to the portal URL.
  2. Open a new tab, paste the link (Ctrl + V), and press Enter to test it.
  3. To integrate it into your website:
    • Use the copied URL as the link for your "Get a Quote" button on your main site.

4. Set Your Starting Quote & Invoice Number

  1. If migrating from another system (e.g., QuickBooks), enter your starting invoice or quote number.
  2. Choose a number to look professional (e.g., starting at 1000 instead of 0001).
  3. Click Save.

5. Enter Business Contact Information

  1. Input your Shop Address (business or home).
  2. Add your Business Email (Gmail, Google Workspace, etc.).
  3. Enter your Business Phone Number.
  4. Click Save.

6. Confirm Profile Information Matches

  1. Navigate to the Profile section.
  2. Ensure the following match your Business Info:
    • Company Name
    • First & Last Name
    • Login Username
    • Business Email
    • Phone Number
    • Website URL
  3. Upload a Profile Image (optional).
  4. Click Save.

Final Notes

  • The most common mistake is not knowing where to find the customer portal URL. You can always find it under Business Info in the Settings menu.
  • Make sure your shop name is formatted correctly (lowercase, no spaces).

Once you've completed these steps, your shop settings will be fully configured, and your customer portal will be ready to use! ?
