Hello and thank you for choosing The Print Life to help manage your shop.

My goal with this software is to help you make a crap-load of money. To do that you need a system that allows you to generate quotes, get paid, get approvals, and get to production as fast as possible.

Email integration

Before you start clicking around on the site, let's help you get your email set up. This step will allow you to test the process of creating and sending quotes to customers.

Office 365

Because it's not as simple to set up an app password in Office 365, it's best to contact Office 365 support and have them help you generate the app password and request they turn on SMTP authentication for the email address. After you have your app password take the following steps.

  1. Paste smtp.office365.com into the Hostname field.
  2. Enter your email address
  3. and paste the app password in both password fields, hit save, then test,

Gmail

First, we need to generate a special password for our Gmail account. This is super easy just follow the simple steps listed below.

Side note if you go through the steps and don't see the option to turn on 2-factor authentication Then watch the video above for steps to turn that on.

Step 1

login to your Gmail account.

Select the profile icon in the top right corner

from the drop-down and select Manage Google account

Step 2

Select Security from the left menu on myaccount.google.com/ dashboard

Step 3

On the security page scroll down to the section titled Signing into Google.

You need to enable 2 step verification.

After you have enabled 2 step verification you will see the App Passwords option under the signing into google section on the Security page.

Select App Passwords.

Step 4

On the App Passwords page navigate to the section titled "Select the app and device you want to generate the app password for"

From the Select App, drop-down click on Other (Custom Name)

Call the app The Print Life and click the Blue Generate Button
