How to Set Sales Tax in Print Life Software


Step 1: Access Settings

  • Open the Print Life software.
  • On the left-hand menu, click on Settings.

Step 2: Go to Price and Tax Settings

  • Once you're on the Settings page, scroll down to the Payment section.
  • Click on Price and Tax Settings.

Step 3: Enter Your Sales Tax Percentage

  • Find the section where you can input your sales tax information.
  • Locate your State's sales tax or County's sales tax percentage. For example, in Arizona, it's 8.6%.
  • Enter the correct sales tax percentage into the provided field.

Step 4: Optional Adjustments

  • You can make additional adjustments here, such as:
    • Deposit Settings: Decide whether to accept a 50% deposit when sending a quote to a customer.
      • If you want to accept a 50% deposit, check the box for this option.
      • If you prefer to require 100% payment, leave the box unchecked.
    • Invoice Settings: You can choose to turn off the display of:
      • Blank item cost.
      • Impression cost on invoices.
    • Inventory View: If you'd like to turn off the inventory view, you can do so by checking the box. (If you prefer to keep it, leave the box unchecked.)

Step 5: Save Your Changes

  • Once you've made all the necessary adjustments, click Save to apply your changes.

That’s it! You’ve successfully set your sales tax in the Print Life software.
